NH Design Studios is a New York City and East Hampton based boutique interior architecture and design firm with a distinguished international clientele. Our full service studio offers multidisciplinary focus including high-end residential, hospitality design as well as commercial design. Design services include interior architecture, interior design, custom furniture design, staging and art consulting.
Drawing inspiration from extensive world travel, contemporary art as well as eclectic treasures, our vision is to create beautiful environments infused with a mixture of functionality, comfort and adventure. Designing for our clients’ individual lifestyles, each project is honed with a client driven approach with an emphasis on their unique history, personality and aspirations.
Nadine Homann, founding partner of NHDS, is the lead designer on all projects and intimately involved in the process from concept design through installation.
With extensive experience directing high-end projects in NYC and the Hamptons, NHDS brings a unique and sophisticated perspective to all of their projects.
Recent projects include various primary and secondary high-end residences in Manhattan and in the Hamptons such as multiple duplex, penthouses, brownstones, celebrity homes and waterfront condominiums.
Notable projects include luxury residences at 56 Leonard Street, Tribeca’s new prestige Landmark by Herzog & de Meuron and a duplex in the old Tiffany & Co.’s building at 15 Union Square West. Sag Harbor's waterfront condominium project received an honorable mention as “Best residential development” by Ocean Home Platinum Winners Magazine.
Our newest ventures include high end residences in East Hampton, the Upper West Side and a landmark brownstone in Chelsea.
About Nadine Homann
Nadine lives at the intersection of many worlds. Born and raised in a small town in Germany she was educated in Germany, the Netherlands, England and Turkey. Experiencing various cultural influences while exploring and living around the globe honed her unique aesthetic sensibility.
Prior to launching her own firm, Nadine was part of several award-winning teams at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Peter Eisenman, D-ash Design, Meridian Design Associates and Midek Mingu. These international teams won the IIDA interior design award in New York, the NATO headquarter competition in Brussels, Belgium as well as the Holocaust Memorial Competition in Berlin, Germany.
She is a guest professor at Cooper Union in NYC and her love for art is reflected in her interiors as well as her affiliations as a Business Council & Parrish Contemporary Circle member and as Young Collectors Council member of the Guggenheim in NYC.
Giving back is central to our mission at NHDS. We are passionate about helping people both locally and internationally and work to inspire individuals and teams to “give back” and collaborate with various NGO’s to realize their own dreams and goals. Nadine is the founder of “Gift of Water” and serves on the advisory board for “I-believe” NGO. She served as President & Board member of the Rotary Club of Metro NYC , currently as Assistant Governor for Manhattan and has been an active member of Rotary International over 19 years.
